David Jensen is a geographer and researcher who focuses on such topics as information access and technology trends and their social, policy and economic impacts.

His ability to absorb facts, figures, information and then access them immediately in a useful form upon request makes him a sort of walking, talking encyclopedia, but with more interesting perspectives. He can point you to pertinent articles, documents, blogs and websites more directly than Google or Bing, and sometimes faster. Serendipity and sharing are two of his passions.

David holds a master’s degree in Geography from the University of Washington. His collection of science fiction novels illustrated by the artist Richard Powers numbers in the several hundreds. He has been a bike messenger in both San Francisco and Seattle, before it was cooler.
